I have been neglecting the Sports Report for the last few days. I will try to keep up with it better in the future. So This weekend, the Hurricanes lost to the Flyers in OT 4-3. They travel to Long Island to face the NY Islanders tonight. On Sunday, the Wolfpack played the Clemson Tigers in Littlejohn Collesium. Scott Wood hit a 3 pointer with 1.0 on the clock to give the pack a 58-57 lead. The Tigers inbounded the ball and heaved a half court attempt as the buzzer sounded. (I don't think it got out of his hands on time, but even if it did, it never had a chance. If it were a hockey game it would not have been counted as a shot on goal.) Lorenzo Brown came back for his first game since injuring his ankle against UVA. Go to this link and see the shot that won the game.
